John Asiata | Best Prop-Forward In The NRL?

nrl predictions

NRL predictions for the future of John Asiatas went up as his performance against the Dragons was world class and he was by far the best player on the pitch. He has set a high standard and if he continues to improve he could become the best prop forward in the history of the NRL.

After Asiatas performance for the Cowboys, social media was ablaze with comments about how great his performance was. He is one of the best ball-playing forwards we have seen since David Taylor along with Feleti Mateo.

One of the major factors that have taken Asiata performances to the next level is playing alongside Michael Morgan. They are the perfect pairing and it was thanks to the two players combine why the Cowboys managed to beat the Dragons after going behind.

Asiata showed great promise as a junior player and from a young age, he had a huge amount of hype behind him. Now that he is getting his chance the 23-year-old is proving that he can be one of the best and drive his team to victory.

Paul Green the Cowboys coach has been instrumental in the player’s development. He coached him during 2013 for the Roosters and managed to tempt the player to join him in North Queensland from Sydney West. With the continued guidance of Green Asiata is in the best possible hands. He understands the player’s weaknesses along with talents and puts him a position to maximize his abilities.

At the time is was a huge decision for the International Samoan player. He has to leave his family to pursue his dream during his first playing season. He is now the first name on the Green`s team sheet and was an important part of them beating Brisbane to win the Premiership. It was an outstanding final and one that will live long in the memory.

Green was extremely pleased with his performance given that is was his first real test for the player, playing in the halves. It was a risky option to take selection someone who has from most of their playing career at lock. It fully played off and it is a tactic that is sure to be used again in future matches.

Green is keeping his cards close to his chest on if Asiata will be selected again playing halves. The head coach was speaking with media on the NRL preview of the upcoming game against the Knights. It is extremely unlikely that Thurston will be back fully fit to take part so it will be between Ben Hampton and Asiata on who will start in the halves.

If Asiata does play in the halves nrl predictions are that the Cowboys will get the win. It would also be worthwhile looking for the best NRL Odds on him getting voted man of the match. If he plays close to he did in his last match he is going to be difficult to displace from playing in the halves position.
